A through ball is a pass made into space in which a team-mate runs onto the ball.
For this type of pass to work, the player needs to make the run into open space whilst the passer has to be able to execute the pass into space.

The One Two Pass
The one two pass, also known as the give-and go, is used a lot in modern day soccer games. Its quick, decisive and very effective for beating defenders and creating space for yourself. Like any other skii or technique, it takes practice to master this type of pass. Once you have practiced it, you will be able to use it effectively on the pitch in a real game sutuation.
This pass is very simple to perform. When you are in possession of the ball, and a defender is standing right in front of you, getting ready to tackle you, you have a few choices. You can either try to dribble past him or play a pass. Taking on a defender is a much riskier tactic and a much safer route would be to play a pass. Look up and find a team-mate who is relatively close and play a short simple pass to feet.

The Lofted Pass
The lofted Pass or long pass is when a player knocks the ball into the air over their opponents heads and to their team-mate. Long passes usually cover greater distances than the side-footed pass. It is ideal for counter attacking, catching the defence off gaurd and switching sides of play.
To perform a long pass, try to strike the ball with the top of your foot with the instep. Strike from the bottom of the ball upwards, this will send the ball flying through the air.

Side Foot Pass
The side foot pass is the most common and easiest pass to perform. It is highly effective and very accurate.
The non-striking foot should be level with the ball. Strike the ball with the inside of your other foot. Adjust weight and direction of pass depending on how far and where your team mate is.

Position within the meaning of football
In football, the position is like home. Not have someone always at home. For certain purposes, he sometimes had to leave the house. Yet each day he must always return to his home. Similarly, the position in football. Does not mean left-back should always be on the left and behind the other players. Even the players are not always the right side and at any time should always be on the right side. The release of a player from his position as 'out of position' (outside position).
But remember, a left back though sometimes outside position but he is a player who should most often be in its original position. If not, there should be no determination of position dong. Moreover, the position is responsibility. Players on the field like a guard house. There must be no thieves or robbers entered our house while our house was vacant unguarded because we're not at home. I could have our homes looted or burnt down!

Futsal defense tactics
In futsal a good defense tactic can be the key for achieving positive results, especially when playing against a better team. Every coach has to prepare his team and individual players on several defense tasks. Futsal tactics in defense can be divided into three categories: (a) team tactic (4 players), (b) group tactic (3 or 2 players) and (c) individual tactic (1 player).
(a) Futsal team defense tactic
There are several factors that we have to consider when deciding how our team will play in defense (depending on both teams):
- Technical skills
- Tactical skills
- Condition
Number of playersIn futsal it is very important to know how the opposite team is playing and based on that we decide for the right team defense tactic. We can choose from:
- Low or zone formation: is a defense formation where all players are positioned low on the pitch (in front of the defending goal). Every player covers a certain part of the field and is focused on preventing shots on goal and not on stealing the ball.

PENALTIES, KICK-OFFS & GOAL KICKS
There is a simple but effective rule to respect during a penalty kick. The fastest defenders should position themselves where the "D" line crosses the line of the penalty area in order to be first to the ball in case of a rebound or save. Also, equally position the defenders around the penalty area in order to have every area covered.
At all levels of football, it is well known that teams having just scored a goal, temporarily lose their concentration and the resulting kick-off can lead to a goal being conceded. Similarly, at the beginning of the game, a team can also be caught cold. This demonstrates the need for good concentration in defence. A team should not give away the tactical advantage of having all it's players in it's own half. It is advisable to allow only two forwards to attack the man with the ball when the ball is kicked off.. The other players should maintain their positions and concentrate on their defensive tasks. A tactic which can sometimes work involves two players positioned on the halfway line next to the centre circle. As soon as the ball is kicked off, one player attacks the opposition players in the centre circle, whilst the other anticipates that the ball will be played backwards and sprints into the opposition's half to immediately put pressure on the opposition.

FREE-KICKS
Wherever a free-kick is conceded on the pitch, this can be dangerous for the defending side. Obviously, free-kicks in and around the penalty area are more dangerous than those conceded further up the pitch. However, players still need to be conscious of the threat from a quickly taken free-kick, even in the opposition's half. Defending layers can be out of position and even caught arguing with the referee and decent opposition will take advantage of this. Players should challenge the kick (standing in front of the ball) as well as immediately taking up positions where both attackers and space can be successfully marked. Similar disciplined procedures must be employed when defending direct and indirect free-kicks in the final defending third of the pitch.
Indirect free-kicks in the defending third: If an indirect free-kick is conceded just outside the penalty area, a defensive wall should be set up as in the case of a direct free-kick (detailed description below) and all the defenders must have pre-defined tasks and positions. Defenders should always be aware in this situation that the ball must be played another attacker in order to shoot. Thus, they should aim to cut down the shooting space and angle as quickly as possible.

Rotation ( Futsal )
Because futsal is played in a relatively small pitch, players can’t easily come into scoring situations. Rotations can help players to come into scoring situations more often, because players that are constantly changing positions are much more difficult to defend than players that don’t move so much. The purpose of the rotation is to confuse the opponent and to make them run so they get tired. Changing the rhythm of play is also very important in futsal. If we run slow and then change our direction very fast, the player that is covering us can’t follow us and we can receive the ball easier.
